#Wednesday workout – Toe touch
Today’s #WednesdayWorkout is with Bootcamp Pilates Instructor, Maria Cruz as she takes us through steps to perform the toe touch.
Targets: the abs concentrically with the flexion and the obliques concentrically with the twist.
- Lie on your back with your legs extended above you.
- Then raise your right arm until it is straight and over your shoulder.
- As you exhale, use your abdominal muscles to lift your head and shoulders off the mat as you reach to touch your left foot with your right hand.
- To end the exercise, inhale as you lower your head and shoulders slowly back to the mat.
- Repeat this on the other side with your other arm.
- Aim to perform 10 on each side.
